21/09/20 – 22/10/20, this is a five-week challenge for 4th-year students like us, students of the Faculty of Education and Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University of Agriculture in particular and Vietnamese students in general because these two weeks can be considered the first step into a career path. I was quite excited to know that I was on the list of interns at the Electronic Newspaper Editorial Board -  Hanoi Radio & Television Broadcasting because this is a famous place for many years.

On the first day, September 21,2020, I was quite worried about this day because the first impressions are really important so I got up very early to prepare clothes to make the best looks on the first day. I really thank our teacher for taking us from university to the agency because of the long distance and the place is so difficult to find.

9 am, with 5 other members of the intern’s group, at Hanoi Radio & Television Broadcasting, we were all excited because this is one of the famous places in Hanoi, and of course we took many photos. After that, the instructor took us to meet The head of the Electronic Newspaper Editorial Board - Mr. Manh, and our instructor - Ms. Le Hoang Yen - who will guide the group's internship activities.

After listening to the instructions and assignments, we had the first job of the week to translate information related to the internship through the book "45 years of Hanoi Radio & Television Broadcasting". This is an interesting book because through it, I have learned a lot more about my internship. The work of the first week did not make us feel difficult, we have completed the deadline assigned. But the second week is totally different, this time was not as easy as before, we were given assignments and teamwork. We translate press releases and news from Vietnamese into English and vice versa. It is really difficult to use words properly in journalistic style. It took me a lot of time to find words to match with the articles I translated. And yet, the specialized words are also a big challenge for me because there is so much diverse information that needs to be carefully selected.  I also asked the help of teachers in the university and friends to contribute the idea because I think this is my first translation product, carefulness comes first, I want it to be the perfect translation.

Working at Hanoi Radio & Television Broadcasting, under a professional and serious working environment has helped me gain more experience and define what it is like to work in an agency - organization. I will work hard in the next 3 weeks to learn more from everyone.
